【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheamountofmaterialappliedtocalcinedcoketocontroldustassociatedwithcokehandlingandtransportation.ThistestmethodislimitedtothosematerialsthataresolubleinasolventthatcanbeusedinaSoxhletextractiontypeofapparatussuchasmethylenechloride(dichloro-methane).Note1-Methylenechlorideisthemostpopularsolventforremovingdustcontroloilatthetimethisprocedureisbeingwritten.Tolueneandmethylchloroform,however,havebeenusedwithequalresultsonallcokestestedwhichhaveincludedonlythosesprayedwitharomaticorwaxymaterials.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.NootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandardThisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection7.
